What certifications are required to join K2 as a technician?
Lead technicians must hold an EPA Section 608 Universal Certification and a valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record. NATE certifications and manufacturer factory training (Mitsubishi, Carrier, Bosch) are strong pluses.
Do you hire entry-level helpers without prior HVAC experience?
Yes! We actively recruit motivated individuals for our apprentice and helper roles who demonstrate mechanical aptitude, punctuality, and eagerness to master the trade. We provide structured on-the-job training.
